Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification

Jamieson Place is the proud recipient of the Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification which measures accessibility standards in the operation of a building and in recognition of an organization’s commitment to providing an accessible building.

The Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification program works to help improve accessibility of the built environment in Canada – the places where we live, work, learn and play and helps create a fully accessible and inclusive Canada. 

Fitwel Viral Response Certification

In 2022, Jamieson Place has received the Fitwel Viral Response Certification. Fitwel is the world's leading certification system for buildings and communities that optimizes projects to support health. Generated by expert analysis of over 5,600 academic research studies, Fitwel is implementing a vision for a healthier future where all buildings and communities are enhanced to strengthen health and wellbeing.

2022 - Energy Star Recertification

The ENERGY STAR® symbol is the internationally recognized and trusted mark of high efficiency. The symbol means that a product, new home, building or industrial facility is certified as energy efficient.

ENERGY STAR Canada is a voluntary partnership between the Government of Canada and organizations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors to promote energy efficiency.

ENERGY STAR makes it easy for Canadians to make energy efficient choices that help them save money on energy bills, increase their competitiveness, and fight climate change.

 

2019 - BOMA Best

In 2019, Jamieson Place received BOMA Best Level 4 certification, the highest level in the program. The BOMA Best program is a national environmental recognition and certification program for commercial buildings in Canada. It was designed, developed and is administered by BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association) Canada and BOMA Calgary.
BOMA Best Level 4 certification is for buildings that score 90 per cent or higher on the BOMA BESt assessment of best practices and sustainable programs and systems.

 

2013 - BOMA: Outstanding Building of the Year

Jamieson Place received BOMA’s The Outstanding Building of the Year Award in the 500,000 to 1,000,000 sf category. This certification recognized Jamieson Place as the leader in its size based on the following seven criteria: design, community impact, tenant relations, energy management and conservation, emergency preparedness, security standards and training of building personnel.

 

 

2012 - BOMA Team of the Year Award

Jamieson Place received BOMA’s Team of the Year Award for Calgary. This certification recognized the Jamieson Place Team as the best in the industry.

 

 

2010 - Gold Certification for LEED® Core & Shell

In November 2010 Jamieson Place received Gold Certification for LEED® Core & Shell. Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) is a third-party certification program and an internationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings.
